Catron County Warrant RecordsCatron County Warrant Records

This policy explains how Catron County Warrant Records handles information when a visitor reads a page, follows an official court or Sheriff link, or uses a sponsored search widget. The site does not host a warrant database, ask visitors to submit a person’s warrant details, or publish private-person records. New Mexico public-records law governs requests to public agencies, not the private reference pages here.

Information the Site Receives

Our web host may receive ordinary technical information such as an IP address, browser type, device details, referring page, and request time. That information is used for security, uptime, aggregate traffic measurement, and basic troubleshooting. We do not ask a visitor to create an account or enter a warrant number, date of birth, case narrative, or private-person dossier into the reference pages.

Sponsored Search Widgets

Some content pages contain a search widget supplied by a third-party provider. If a visitor uses it, that provider may process search terms, device details, cookies, or a referral record under its own privacy policy. The provider’s result is not an official Catron County, New Mexico Courts, or Sheriff record. Do not enter sensitive case information into a commercial tool.

Any price, account, data use, or referral arrangement belongs to the provider. Catron County Warrant Records does not control that outside service.

Cookies and Analytics

The site or its hosting and analytics services may use cookies or similar tools for basic operation, measurement, security, and advertising attribution. Browser settings can limit cookies, although a setting may affect a third-party widget or page function. We do not use a cookie to certify, match, or store an official warrant status.

Links to Courts and Agencies

Pages link to New Mexico Courts, the Seventh Judicial District, the Catron County Sheriff, the County Clerk, the municipal-court directory, Census tables, and other official sources. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination agency or provider controls its own information practices. Read that destination’s policy and use the official contact route for a court record.

New Mexico Public Records

The New Mexico Inspection of Public Records Act, NMSA 1978 §§14-2-1 through 14-2-12, provides a public-record request framework subject to exceptions. The appropriate agency controls the record. A court warrant order belongs with the judicial office that maintains the case. A Sheriff incident or audio record belongs with the Sheriff. The Catron County Clerk’s office handles documents recorded there, not every criminal court file.

IPRA does not override sealed, juvenile, protected, privileged, or confidential material. Nothing in this policy changes the public-access rules of New Mexico Courts or another agency.

Children and Sensitive Information

Do not submit juvenile names, dates of birth, addresses, mugshots, case narratives, or other sensitive details through this site or a third-party widget. New Mexico Children’s Code records have confidentiality limits. The safest practice is to call the issuing court or Sheriff and provide only what that office asks for through its official channel.

Changes to This Policy

We may revise this policy when the site, its tools, or local source routes change. The updated version takes effect when posted with a new effective date or revised text. A public source can change before this policy does, so verify agency practices directly.
