Why This Reference Exists
Reserve is a compact public-services hub, but the office that holds a county record is not always the office in the nearest building. The Sheriff and County Clerk are listed at 100 Main Street. Catron District Court is at 101 Main Street, yet its location page directs filings through the Socorro District Court Clerk’s Office. Reserve Magistrate Court is the local route for many traffic and misdemeanor matters.
The public New Mexico Courts Case Lookup helps locate an indexed case, but it is not the official record and not a dedicated active-warrant register. The Sheriff’s official page does not publish an active-warrant or most-wanted list. Those limits shape the information collected here.
What You Will Find Here
- Search routes: how to use Case Lookup, identify the issuing court, and confirm the answer by phone.
- Warrant types: plain explanations of arrest, bench, traffic, summons, capias, and failure-to-appear terms.
- Local offices: contact details for Catron District Court, Reserve Magistrate Court, the Sheriff, and the County Clerk.
- Record requests: how court IPRA differs from the Sheriff’s incident and audio request form.
- Access limits: why juvenile, sealed, protected, and confidential records may not appear.
The reference also identifies the Reserve address discrepancy and encourages a phone call before a rural courthouse trip.
What We Cannot Do
Catron County Warrant Records is privately operated. It is not a court, sheriff’s office, clerk’s office, or New Mexico agency. We cannot confirm a warrant, recall or clear a court order, accept bond, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice. Only the issuing court can explain the current legal status and next authorized step.
- We do not run an official warrant check for any person.
- We do not publish names, mugshots, juvenile details, or a most-wanted roster.
- We do not promise that an online result is current or complete.
- We do not treat the County Clerk as the criminal court clerk.
- We do not turn a records request into a private-person dossier.
Use the official court or Sheriff contact for a final answer, especially before appearing, paying, or traveling.
Search Tools and Official Sources
Some content pages contain a sponsored search widget supplied by a third party. Those tools are not official court or Sheriff systems. Any paid service has its own terms, pricing, and data practices. The official routes named in the county research are New Mexico Courts Case Lookup, the judicial IPRA process, the Catron Sheriff page and request form, the Seventh District pages, and the Reserve Magistrate listing.
We link to those primary sources so a reader can move from a plain-language explanation to the office that controls the record. External pages can change. Verify contact details with the source before relying on them.
