This Is Not a Government Office. We cannot verify a warrant, accept payment or bond, arrange a surrender, or provide legal advice. Contact the court that issued the process or the Sheriff for a service question.
Official Warrant Contact Routes
Use the court that controls the case for status, recall, bond, appearance, or payment conditions. Use the Sheriff for service, custody, or law-enforcement routing. A public Case Lookup result can help locate a file, but the court remains the final source for current status.
- Catron District Court: 101 Main Street, Reserve, New Mexico 87830; 575-835-0050 ext. 12; Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The location page says filings go through the Socorro District Court Clerk’s Office.
- Reserve Magistrate Court: Catron County - I; 575-533-6474. Official pages list different physical addresses, so call before visiting.
- Catron County Sheriff’s Office: 100 Main Street, Reserve, New Mexico 87830; 575-533-6222 for non-emergency calls for service; 575-533-6301 for administrative and other business calls.
- Catron County Clerk: 100 Main Street, Reserve; 575-533-6400; Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The County Clerk handles county recording material, not every criminal court file.
Where to Request a Public Record
Use the New Mexico Courts IPRA route for a specific court warrant order, docket entry, recall action, or case document that is not available through the public index. Describe the record with reasonable particularity and identify the court, case, process, and date range if known. Use the Sheriff’s open-records form for incident, audio, blotter, 911, radio, or related agency records.
The Sheriff form does not include a warrant-status field. The inspected sources do not state a Catron-specific fee, response time, or electronic submission method. Ask the office before relying on a delivery or copy assumption.
Before You Call or Travel
Have the case number, court named on the paper, citation or summons date, and the exact record you need. Explain whether the question concerns a current warrant, a missed hearing, payment, service, a recall, or a copy request. Do not send more personal information than the office asks for.
Because the Reserve Magistrate address is different on two official pages and walk-in hours were not located, call 575-533-6474 before going there. For a District Court filing or case question, ask whether the Socorro clerk route applies.
